BAUNG! BAUNG!

Finally, the BTN camp was over…and last Wednesday morning, we had our compulsory psychology test…and currently we are in the short mid-sem break, which lasts 4 or 5 days (depend on whether a student got skip class or not la…)

Haih… Ordinary days will resume on Tuesday… and the mid-sem exam in early of May is coming very soon…

Here is a brief description of my experience in BTN program. Basically, it is a fun and educational experience, maybe due to I have some interest bout politics issues… and it’s not very tiring and torturing as what we had imagined before…It’s not something in the form of military training…

The accommodation was in satisfaction…and during the camp, most of the Chinese guys stayed in the same room… Therefore, we had great fun time whenever we were in the room…especially when Muslims went for their prayer and during the sleeping time in late night…

Then bout food…based on quality, I think it was normal but still ok for me…as long as I still have appetite to finish them…But, pitifully, the quantity of dishes for every meal was always very very few, especially the vegetables… and we were not allowed to add more dishes even though the rice was still a lot…

The physical activities in the camp were not many and not very hard… Just a physical test and a 2km run that were counted for marks…while the other activities such as aerobic were just for fun… The Futsal competition for guys (girls played netball) in the final evening was surely the climax of everything!!! Everyone enjoyed themselves by playing on the field and shouting and applauding when became supporters… The game had made some impact on tightening the relationship among camp participants and even between participants and coaches who often showed strict and serious look during formal occasion…Instead, those coaches are human, and they had their humorous side also…

The talk for 4 topics was quite nice also…the well-prepared speakers added some jokes in their presentation…Totally, those talk were not very boring except the topic of ‘Rakyat’ but brought some knowledge bout Malaysia’s history, politics, economy… My tiredness throughout the camp was due to the boring LDK (Latihan Dalam Kumpulan) which lasted 16 hours in 2 days… Small groups were formed and each group was lead by a facilitator to do discussion and ‘brain-washing’…

After a paper exam and a simple closing ceremony on final day, the camp came to its end.
Throughout the program, I was amazed that all the facilitators, coaches and officers for this BTN were so patriotic and passionate towards country…All of their talks and speeches during the activities brought the message of loving Malaysia…but honestly, we really can’t blindly support and agree with every actions and decisions of Government… and finally, the other impact of this camp is a new kosa kata “Baung! Baung!” has added into our life…Haha!

After going through a few activities with Malays such as orientation in KMK and KUTPM, and then this BTN camp…I learnt the benefits of Malaysia as an Islamic nation…Hehe…because for non-Muslims, we had some free time to rest during the hectic program when Muslims went for their prayers, 5 times per day…The longest one surely was at night, after dinner la…

Ok… Currently…despite have no choice but to wait for the coming exam, I am waiting for Thomas Cup tournament also…Malaysia has a strong team this time and really wish them can win the cup before I fly to our arch-rival country in badminton…I want to see our Bukit Mertajam fellows, Lee Chong Wei and Chew Choon Eng lift Thomas Cup!!! Dreaming… or it will be a reality soon??

BTN camp is coming soon...

Biro Tata Negara(BTN) Camp is coming soon…It’s a compulsory camp for JPA scholarship holders…and on 12 – 16 April, it’s the turn of India and Indonesia bound students…and I will be attend the camp in Tanjung Rhu, Sepang. From the schedule given and comments of those who had gone through the camp before, it seems like will be a very tiring one…Hope I am able to stand it…5 days…it’s not very long yet not very short…

The moment that Park Ji-Sung score the match killing goal for Man Utd against Arsenal last night still keep on appearing in my mind…So glad that he scored…Though was just a simple van Nistelrooy’s style tap-in, but he deserved for the goal…Running tirelessly and industriously to attack and defend on the field... As our Leong describe his stamina as ‘unlimited’! Asian Pride!

Finally, there is another thing that keep on wandering in mind recently…It’s the melody of a song - <你那么爱他>. Though its melody is simple and lyrics is quite direct, but Just too nice this song...

Till after BTN camp, bye!

Birthday's Thoughts....

25th March 2006, a special day of mine…my 19th birthday.

During that day, I was on the trip in ipoh as I spent last weekend there with Yityung, Zhuan, Poh Wei, Marine and Jien Yeen as host…It was a wonderful trip…( Maybe I will write a post and post some pictures bout that trip only if I have time, have mood and when I not ‘so lame’…Oh Yeah! We watched ‘I’m not stupid too’ on 24th March…It was really an excellent movie! Touching + Hilarious)
What I expect to get in this 19 year-old? I am not very sure… Perhaps a good study life…Currently, I feel that future is really in uncertainty… It’s all about Indonesia medicine…Nobody can really know exactly how the life and environment is when studying in Indonesia... Now I can only continue to wait and hope…

2 days before my birthday, the result of Sem 2 had released…I didn’t manage to get 4 flat…therefore I have to say that the near future is totally not under my control already...I regarded my birthday gift from God for this year is a warning alarm of my life... I realized how inefficient of my study…The last few preparation weeks before the exam were terrible for me… After the final exam, I knew that if I drop any tear due to an unsatisfactory result, it is not for the result, but for my worst preparation… I wish that I have the determination to correct any mistake in studying… for myself and for a better future…I hope it won’t be too late… “烂的苹果,如果切掉烂的部分,它还是个好苹果。”

Anyway…so many days have passed, even my 19th birthday has passed…the past has passed... I just hope that I can do much harder in this final sem and enjoy every moments when together with friends here before we head to our own destination few months later…
“前面是绝路,转角是希望。”
我知道我一直有双隐形的翅膀, 带我飞, 飞过绝望。
I began my first day of 19 happily, and I wish that on the final day of my 19, I will also very happy and satisfy with my life and situation then…

To everyone who wished my birthday, organized the small party for me and gave me sms, gifts and cards…Thanks You a lot!!! Hope you all happy always too... Unlimited special thanks to Jien Yeen for everything in ipoh!

Happy Birthday to me!!! Be strong!
祝自己:生日快乐!天天快乐!

Holidays' Mood

Finally I manage to force myself to write my first post during these holidays…

Really don’t feel like doing anything now… no mood to interpret things wander in my mind into words for blogging… prefer to lay down and listen to songs instead of playing music myself… watch sports matches on TV instead of going down the field to play… reading others’ blogs instead of writing blog…and many more… but fortunately, I still can eat and sleep on my own…

But I like such relaxing life!…2 weeks holidays…2 weeks…with current speed of time, surely it have to pass through very very soon… and all kinds of trouble and works will come in front of us again… so…How I wish time can stop here forever…er…maybe no need stop forever…it’s ok for a much longer time…

Haih…Tat’s all only I can write for this time…

As a conclusion of this post, Happy Holidays to those in holidays and All the Best to those who are in the sprinting period of study!

Outdated Update

I am back to bloggie! Last week was busy… and I had no mood and passion to write a new post…

First of all, Happy Chinese New Year… May this dog year promises more to come…

The past week was quite hectic and progressing in high pace… Firstly, we went to a homestay programme in Tanjung Karang, a malay village… I was under a foster family who live a simple and plain life… So, we were only served with simple ‘village’ style food, not as great as what we had heard in others families, left a lot food some more … Though, it was still a great first time experience of living in a village… especially could enjoy the greenly and windy scenery…

After ming back from homestay, we went through a horrific lecture week before Chinese New Year holidays… The first four days of the week was packed with normal classes, replacement classes and extra classes…The lecture speed for all subjects was superbly quick as we had lots of chapters to be covered before final exam in mid February…

Anyway… the long awaited Friday finally reached… The new year holidays started and I went back to home town…

Now… Reunion dinner had passed… First two days of Chinese New Year were also passed… the holidays were shorter and shorter…

Tomorrow night I will be attending our 5S1 class gathering… and before that, will go to citan’s house in nibong tebal… YEAH!!!
